The Popcorn Ceiling

The house is a solid ranch from the mid-seventies, and the buyers want the ceilings smooth. Your scope: scrape the sprayed acoustic ceiling in three rooms, replace the wrapped ductwork above them, and repipe a failed water line out to the detached garage. Your lead man taps the ceiling with a pole and shrugs: "Scrapes easy. We could have it down by Friday." The house is older than everyone on your crew.
