Your corporation has held its general building license for eight years on the back of one man: Walt, your responsible managing officer — semi-retired, sharp, the license law's answer to a question you never had to think about. On the first Monday in March, Walt walks in with coffee and a letter. He is moving to Idaho to be near his grandkids. He is sorry. He is also leaving at the end of the week.
